Hi!  It's been a while since I posted but I'll try to bring you up to speed.  In the Fall of 2011 our home (well mainly the backyard) was featured in H.D. Living Magazine-"One Brick at a Time:HD Home Spotlight.  If you're interested in the entire article you can check it out for yourself at the link below.  It's an amazing story (even though I witnessed my crazy man doing all of his projects) so check it out!  Katie Chavez is a writer at H.D. Living Magazine and she spent about three hours walking the grounds while Gary told his interesting stories about each of his masterfully crafted venues.  Katie captured our personalities in her story and we thank her dearly for this tribute to our efforts.  Susan Whitney is a professional photographer whom we met through a mutual friend.  Our friend insisted she come over and see our place.  When she made the appointment she asked if she could bring along her friend, Frank Castillo, we told her sure.  Little did we know that Frank Castillo is the publisher/CEO of H.D. Living Magazine.  We enjoyed listening to all the stories Frank had to tell us about his experience in the High Desert-if you live up here where the air is bluer than blue, you should subscribe to H.D. Living Magazine, there're a wealth of information in it.  Frank was amazed at all the work done and asked if he could feature our place in his magazine...and the rest is history, http://issuu.com/bayareakidsmagazine/docs/hdliving_fall2011
Susan Whitney http://www.susanwhitney.com/ is a wonderful photographer and has a great eye!  I've included several shots she took of The Estate Venue that were not included in the magazine.  Thanks so much Susan, you did a great job!
More to come soon!!!
